This data protection statement applies to all personal data provided by but not limited to customers, interested parties, job applicants of Frequentis Comsoft for processing. It also applies to the information from which personal data are derived.

Collection and processing of personal data on publicly available areas of our website

You can use the publicly accessible areas of this website without disclosing your identity. In case Frequentis Comsoft explicitly asks you for personal information (e.g. name, e-mail address, country of residence), for example when you use the contact form or register for a newsletter, you do so voluntarily. Frequentis Comsoft only uses the information provided by you for our own business purposes, such as sending you the requested material.

If you communicate with Frequentis Comsoft by using a contact form on this website, the information marked as “required” is necessary for Frequentis Comsoft to efficiently handle your enquiry. You may provide any further information voluntarily. Frequentis Comsoft thus processes the information provided by you through the contact form on the basis of your consent (Art 6(1)a) GDPR). Frequentis Comsoft will delete this personal data once your enquiry has been resolved and our record retention obligations under applicable statutory regulations.

In case you have given consent to receive newsletters or other information from Frequentis Comsoft, you may revoke this consent at any time without providing reasons. To revoke your consent, please use the contact form or the way indicated in our newsletters.

Logging and protocols

Access Data / Server Logfiles

The provider (or his webspace provider) collects data about every access to the website (so-called server log files). This access data includes:
Name of accessed website, file, date and time of access, volume of data transmitted, message about successful access, type of browser and version, operating system of user, referrer (URL of the previous page you visited, IP address and the requesting provider.
The provider uses the log data only for statistical analysis for the purpose of the operation, security and optimization of the website. The provider retains the right, however, to check the log data at a later time if there is a reasonable suspicion of unlawful use on the basis of specific indications.
These logfiles are automatically deleted after 30 days. In case there is a security incident, Frequentis Comsoft will retain individually involved records longer than this period for forensic purposes, and only delete these records after fulfilment. In any case, full IP addresses are only accessible by specially designated persons in Frequentis Comsoft’s IT department and will not processed for any other purpose than investigating a security incident.

Transfer of your personal data

Frequentis Comsoft does not transfer your personal data to third parties unless you have explicitly consented to such a transfer or Frequentis Comsoft is entitled or obligated to do so, for example based on Art. 6 GDPR or under the laws of an EU or EEA member state. In some instances, Frequentis Comsoft uses third parties as data processors as allowed under the GDPR, and whenever Frequentis Comsoft does so, Frequentis Comsoft remains fully responsible for that processing as the data controller.

From time to time, Frequentis Comsoft transfers the personal data you have entrusted Frequentis Comsoft with between individual companies belonging to the Frequentis group of companies, for the purposes mentioned above. The Frequentis group internal transfer is made on the basis of Frequentis Comsoft’s legitimate interest to offer you more complete and integrated services.

Liability for Linked Contents of Third Party Providers

It is important to distinguish between Frequentis Comsoft’s own content and references (“links”) that lead to other content from other providers. Frequentis Comsoft has no influence on the content of the linked websites. Here, it is always the provider or the operator of these sites that is responsible for the content.
Frequentis Comsoft uses links on this website that lead to the respective Frequentis Comsoft sites of the social networks facebook ®, twitter ®, LinkedIn ® and YouTube ®. In order to get access to all contents of these sites you have to login by using your own account. There is absolutely no transfer of personal data to those sites.

To find Frequentis Comsoft’s offices easily, Frequentis Comsoft offers you the use of Google Maps where you can see maps and create routes. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. These sites will be made visible accordingly.By using this service, you declare that you agree with the collection, processing and use of the self-entered data through Google. Frequentis Comsoft’s website also uses so-called "session cookies". Session cookies are small entities of information stored by Frequentis Comsoft ‘s website on the main memory of your computer. A session cookie generates an unambiguous identification number, the so-called session ID. In addition, the cookie contains information about its origin and its period of retention. The cookies are not able to store any further data. The cookies used by us are deleted automatically as soon as you close the browser window or call up another site.

Your rights as a concerned person

Under the given contact of our Data Protection Officer, you can exercise the following rights in accordance with Art. 15 to 18 and 20 to 21 of the GDPR:

  • Right to rectification of inaccurate personal data
  • Right to erasure of stored personal data, the so-called "right to be forgotten"
  • Right to restriction of processing, in cases where Frequentis Comsoft must maintain the storage of personal data for legal obligations
  • Right to object to the processing of your personal data
  • Right to portability of your personal data when you have consented in the processing or have concluded a contract with Frequentis Comsoft
  • If you have filed a declaration of consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future.

You can, at any time, file a complaint to your competent supervisory authority. The competence of the supervisory authority depends on your country you reside in, your work or the alleged infringement of personal data. Use of the Website by Underaged Persons

Frequentis Comsoft reserves the right to amend this Data Protection Statement from time to time so that it will always comply with the legal requirements or to change our services in data protection, e.g. the introduction of new services. Therefore, a new Data Protection Statement will be valid if a Frequentis Comsoft website is accessed.
